Flirting on Two Wheels

Tired of swiping right on profiles that go nowhere faster than a flat tire? Shift gears and find a match on our Flirting on Two Wheels ACF bike ride! This year, we’ll do a short in-town ride between a series of stops for quick conversations with new connections. Regardless of what you seek, everyone’s on this ride for the same reason: to connect!

It's a guaranteed win-win: a little exercise, fresh air, some new connections in the bike community, and maybe even a romantic connection that won’t disappear like a drop ride!

Interested in joining? Show up on the day of the ride and we’ll organize the matching activities.

What Else?

Event Ground Rules & Tips

  • Be present — Avoid being on your phone, and pay attention to the road for your own sake as well as each other.

  • Be a good communicator — This applies to your time with your match but also with others, announcing hazards along the ride so everyone is safe! Also, if anyone has a mechanical issue, let our ride volunteers know!

  • No trick riding — While impressive to see in isolation, this ride is not the place for it!

  • Be honest — If you need a break, let us know!

  • Be courteous & don’t apply pressure — Even if you aren’t interested in a match as a friend or romantic connection, be kind and enjoy your time together, and the ride together!

  • Be prepared — Think of what you might want to tell people about yourself

  • Be open — This can help foster genuine connections.

  • Be creative — Ask out-of-the-box questions to make things interesting!

  • Respect everyone’s personal space — Not only for everyone’s comfort, but also for everyone’s safety!

  • Speak up — If someone has said anything offensive or behaved inappropriately, let us know!

  • Have fun and relax — Let’s make this a great experience for everyone!
